At the end of the semester, we need to learn to categorize the numerous courses we face. First, there are the courses that can be crammed (those that mainly involve memorization). For these courses, it’s all about short-term memory. I usually spend 2-3 days (after preparing the key points beforehand). The first day is to memorize the general outline, the second day is to focus on the key points, and I sleep 4 hours at night to restore my brain’s energy. I stop memorizing an hour before the exam and focus on staying calm and focused.

Then comes the specialized courses that require time to understand. I believe building a knowledge framework is crucial; first, connect the main themes of each chapter, especially those seemingly unrelated points that are often tested together. Next, you need to highlight key points. I generally only review the logic points repeatedly mentioned by the teacher and the thought-provoking questions in the tutorial. Finally, there’s the Past Paper practice, which I do twice. For the questions I get wrong the first time, I analyze “why this answer gets points.” After understanding, I do it again the next day to check if I’ve truly grasped the concepts.
